About the Role
As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of sushi dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a key role in crafting memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Prepare sushi and sashimi using traditional techniques and innovative recipes.
Select and source fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at sushi bar.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and specials.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Interact with customers, providing recommendations and addressing any dietary needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
